TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE COUNTRY CORNER

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://thecountrycorner.org.uk/ and the booking of our in-hand miniature horse walking sessions and outdoor sessions for home-schooled children (collectively, the “Sessions”).

By booking a Session or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services & Eligibility

  • The Sessions: We provide 45-minute guided, in-hand walking sessions. This includes wellness/therapy-focused sessions and outdoor educational/recreational activities tailored for home-schooled children.

  • Age and Supervision: For all sessions involving minors or home-schooled children, a parent, legal guardian, or authorized supervisor must accompany the children and remain on-site for the duration of the entire session.

  • 2. Booking, Payments, & Pricing

  • ●  All Sessions must be booked and paid for in full via our online system before the slot is secured.

  • ●  Prices for our sessions are displayed on our website and are subject to change. However, the price confirmed at the time of your booking will be honored.

    3. Postponement, Cancellation, & Rescheduling Policy

  • ●  48-Hour Notice for Postponements: You may postpone or reschedule a booked and paid session free of charge, provided you give us at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.

  • ●  Late Cancellations & No-Shows: If you request a change, postpone, or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or fail to attend the session, the full session fee will be forfeited. No refunds or complimentary rescheduling will be issued.

  • ●  Weather and Animal Welfare: Our sessions take place outdoors. In the event of extreme or dangerous weather conditions (e.g., severe storms, high winds, extreme heat), or due to sudden animal welfare concerns, we reserve the right to postpone the session for safety. If we cancel due to weather or animal health, you will be offered a priority reschedule or a full refund.

4. Client Behavior & Safety Rules

Working with live animals requires strict adherence to safety rules. By attending, you agree that you and any children in your care will:

  • ●  Follow all instructions given by our handlers and staff at all times.

  • ●  Dress appropriately for an outdoor farm environment. All participants must

    wear closed-toe shoes (boots or sturdy trainers). Sandals, flip-flops, or high heels

    are not permitted for safety reasons.

  • ●  Not feed the miniature horses unless explicitly instructed and provided with food by our staff.

    Failure to comply with safety rules may result in the immediate termination of the session without a refund.

  1. Liability Waiver & Risk Acknowledgment

    • ●  Inherent Risk: You acknowledge that interacting with equines (even miniature horses) carries inherent risks of injury, as animals can act unpredictably.

    • ●  By booking a session, you agree to assume these risks and agree that The Country Corner, its owners, and staff will not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or property damage sustained during a session, except where caused by our gross negligence.

  2. Health & Medical Disclaimers

● Our therapy sessions are designed for emotional well-being, mindfulness, and outdoor recreation. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or physical therapy treatment.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page and will apply to all bookings made after the date of publication.
